A Small Lie I Regret

I lied to my current date about having read a book we both wanted to discuss. Instead of admitting I hadn't finished it, I pretended like I loved all the parts I actually found boring. Now I'm not sure if I should tell her the truth or hope she doesn't bring it up again.
