Went Wild With A Stranger At The Party - Advice Needed?

So here's the thing. I just got out of a two-year relationship with this guy who had some serious trust issues. We've been seeing each other since high school, so it was quite a shock to me when he finally called it quits last week. He said I wasn't passionate enough and that he needed something more spontaneous in his life. Well, after weeks of moping around my apartment, I finally went out with some friends for drinks one night this past weekend. We ended up at some random party in a warehouse downtown, the kind where you can never be sure who's going to show up or what might happen. The DJ was playing loud music and everyone seemed pretty amped. There was this one guy there - I'll just call him Alex because that's all I know about him. He was really tall with short brown hair, kind of rugged looking but in a way that wasn't intimidating at all. We hit it off immediately over drinks and somehow ended up talking about... well, sex. Which isn't unusual for me considering the circumstances. Long story short, we both seemed to want the same thing - something fast and unapologetic after everything I've been through lately. So, we found a quiet corner of the warehouse where no one was paying much attention, and it happened right there in a haze of dim lighting and pulsing bass. Now don't get me wrong, this wasn’t just some quickie - far from it. It was intense, intimate, full on sex for hours until the early morning light began to seep into the warehouse. I mean, he had his fingers everywhere and used every part of him that you can imagine. There were toys involved too which brought me to a level of pleasure I haven't experienced in years. The next day felt surreal - we left together and never really talked again after that morning, but there was definitely something memorable about the experience. So now here I am, feeling conflicted. Was it just an impulsive act born out of a breakup? Or did it mean more than that? What do you all think - is this normal behavior for someone in my position?
