Caught in the Moment

I was working late one evening, totally focused on my freelance project. My fiancé came over unexpectedly for a surprise visit and saw me with headphones on, fully immersed in work mode. Instead of interrupting, he quietly set up a picnic by my desk and started messaging me through my computer. The messages were playful, asking if I was free to play along with him. Caught between distraction and the urge to escape reality, I ended up letting go and giving in to his silly game right there on my work laptop. We had this impromptu make-out session that left us both giggling but quite breathless by the end of it. Is this normal for people who are engaged? Do others find it easy to blur the lines between personal and professional spaces with their significant other like we did?
