A White Lie About My Studies

So here I am, a grad-school dropout who decided it was easier on everyone if I pretended to still be enrolled. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking, how lame is that? But listen, when your significant other's into academic achievements and you’re barely holding onto the semblance of one yourself, you start getting creative. It’s not like I’m claiming to ace exams or anything; just keeping up a façade of ‘I’m still in school’ has become my little personal crusade against reality. Not exactly the most exciting confession, but there's something oddly comforting about admitting it.
