Is This Just Me?

I'm a grad student and generally content with not being tied down romantically right now. Last week though, I cheated on my own hypothetical commitment because, well, why the hell not? It was a weird day, started early, skipped lunch for some caffeine rush, then somehow ended up hooking up with Mike from the gym. He's cute and flirty, but we're both pretty clear it’s just fun, no strings. Afterward, I felt okay, like hey, I can still enjoy that feeling without any long-term complications. But now I'm wondering if there's something wrong with me for even considering such a thing outside of some relationship framework.
