Late Night Loneliness

I just got off work after another long shift. We had a pretty big fight before I left, and it’s all still heavy on my mind as I drive home. Stopped at the liquor store out of habit, same place we used to meet up for drinks whenever things were tense. Just seeing that sign set me off, and next thing I know I’m sitting in an empty parking lot, half a bottle down, scrolling through old pics. Miss him already, even though it was only two weeks ago.
