Caught in the Moment at Work
Anonymous Insatiable Sneak #283 · General
I’ve been working as a nurse for over a decade now, and I pride myself on my professionalism. But there was this one time that really threw me off balance. My partner is supportive of many things, but when it comes to roleplay involving power dynamics or medical scenarios, they draw the line. It all started with a new intern who had some interesting medical knowledge but also a playful demeanor. He'd joke around during rounds and even made a few innuendos that were surprisingly not off-putting, just teasing enough to make me laugh. One day, while we were alone in the supply room restocking bandages, he suggested a roleplay idea. It involved him playing an injured patient, and I being his nurse who could take care of him. I hesitated at first. My partner is strict about our boundaries, but there was something about this intern’s energy that made me feel safe and comfortable despite the scenario's taboo nature for us. We agreed to keep it consensual with clear stop signals, no real medical procedures involved, just a bit of fun and flirtation. I gave him a pretend check-up, pretending his arm was broken as we laughed and joked. The next day at home, my partner found out about what happened. He wasn’t pleased, but also didn't overreact. We had an honest conversation, and he admitted to being jealous but also intrigued by the dynamic that came out of it unexpectedly. I explained how professional yet playful our interaction was and assured him it wouldn’t happen again unless we as a couple agreed on such roleplay first. Reflecting back, despite the rules and boundaries in place at work, this event just felt right for both of us, he got to see me in an unexpected light, and I got to experience something out-of-character. It’s made me question how strict I need to be about certain kinks if they bring such a unique joy into my life. But still, the thought lingers that maybe one day, I'll surprise him with another scenario like this again, only with more planning and mutual agreement. For now though, it's just a memory I carry with me, a little bit of mischief amidst the professionalism.
