Just Another Artistic Concession

I’ve been with my fiancée for over two years now, and lately our intimate moments have taken a turn I wasn’t prepared for. We were cuddling up in bed the other night when she suddenly got this look in her eye that said, 'let’s break out of our comfort zone.' She wanted to try something new and suggested blindfolding me during foreplay, which was a total shock since it's not really my thing, being an artist, I value visual stimulation. But she convinced me by saying it would heighten the other senses and make things more intense. So there we were, her hands delicately tying the cloth around my eyes, and as the world went dark, I felt something shift in me. It was scary at first, but then I started to hear every whisper of her breath, feel each brush of skin against mine, and taste all the sweetness that had been hidden behind sight before. By the time we were done, I found myself craving more of this new dimension to our playfulness. The irony isn’t lost on me, closing my eyes opened up a whole new world.
