A Casual Affair

I'm in my 50s, married for 30 years. Two weeks ago, I started seeing a younger man at work casually... We didn't hide it from our spouses... Just met up to talk or go out during lunch breaks... There was never anything physical involved... Our affair ended just as suddenly as it began when he got promoted and moved away... It all feels hollow now, like nothing really happened... I'm writing this mostly because I wanted to document a brief lapse in my long life... No real regrets here, it's just another chapter closed.
