The One That Got Away... Sort Of?

So I was in grad school, you know, trying to figure out life and all that. And this one girl... let's call her Sarah because why not. Anyway, we got pretty close, but never really crossed the line... well, until recently. We were at a party, and she'd had a couple of drinks. I mean, who hasn't been there before? And suddenly, things started to feel very different between us... We went back to my place that night, not thinking too much about it, just going with the flow, you know? The thing is, we were both kind of cautious, even after all that time. So it was more like dancing around each other... literally! We had these awkward moments where neither of us wanted to be the first to make a move but also really wanted to. Eventually, she leaned in and kissed me... and I did too. It felt so good, like finally getting something you've been waiting for forever. But then came the real questions, was this just a one-off thing? Were we ready for more? We talked it out, as best as drunk people can talk about serious stuff, and decided to give each other some time before making any big decisions. But yeah, let's say that moment with Sarah was kinda... unforgettable. So there you go... I'm still figuring things out, but at least now there's a new kind of hope in the air or maybe just another party to look forward to. Who knows? Life’s full of surprises...
