i feel so lost now

divorced after 30 years of marriage and it feels like i’m starting over at fifty. i never thought about dating again but there’s this woman in her forties who i met online. we talk all the time and she’s really understanding, knows how hard it is to try and start anew. last night we decided to finally meet up after weeks of talking, and when we did... it was intense. we didn’t wait long before exploring each other fully in her bed. the passion and chemistry felt like a rush i haven't experienced since i was young, but here at fifty, it feels both terrifying and exhilarating. i don’t know where this is going to lead, but right now, just feeling alive again with someone new is enough.
