i lied about my coffee skills

so today at work this new customer came in and they were totally checking me out. i felt so flattered but then he asked me if i could make a fancy latte art design on his drink and i kinda froze up. i've never actually tried making anything that complicated before, just the basics really. so i said yes cause i didn't want to seem like a noob in front of this cute guy. i grabbed his order and tried my best but it ended up looking more like a blob than any sort of design. i felt super embarrassed when he came back for it but then he actually complimented me on being honest! turns out he's just a chill dude who cares way less about fancy coffee tricks than i do. still gotta brush up on my skills though, you never know what the next cute barista admirer will want.
