It was just one night, but it feels like years have passed since then. I met this guy at a party... and we ended up talking for hours. We were both drinking quite a bit... Next thing I know, he's offering me a ride home, and before I knew what was happening, we stopped at his place. It was all very quiet and hushed whispers... We stayed in separate rooms though... The next morning was so awkward... I avoided eye contact the whole way back to my apartment. And now every time I see him out, it's like a little sting of guilt. I haven't told anyone... not even my spouse... How do I tell them? What if they never find out and live thinking there's always someone else in the corner of my life?...
