A Night At The Bar

Just out of a serious relationship and feeling the freedom of my late-night shifts. Met someone at a bar; he was easy to talk to...and it led somewhere we both knew wasn’t right, but who cares in those moments when you just want release? Ended up back at his place with the usual mix of tension and relief...neither of us pretending like it mattered after that night. Done is done, no regrets.
