Caught in the Moment

I'm a doctor in an open relationship and recently found myself exploring with another patient during my night shift. We both knew it was risky and against policy, but we were careful and consensual. The chemistry just clicked. Now I'm torn, excitement at the thrill of it, but also fear of crossing ethical boundaries again. Is this normal? How do I balance passion with professionalism without hurting anyone?
