The Weekend That Changed Everything...

It was right after my divorce papers were finalized... I felt like there wasn't much left to lose. I decided to go on a retreat of sorts, to this secluded cabin in the woods we used to visit together back when things were still good. But instead of solitude and reflection, it turned into something completely unexpected. I met him through Airbnb messaging... His name was Alex. He was kind enough to rent me the place at such short notice, even though he had plans for his friends. We exchanged messages, polite but distant. Until one day, I mentioned how the cabin meant so much and asked if it would be okay to have a few quiet nights alone. Alex understood perfectly... He suggested we meet in person instead, just briefly at first. Just enough time for him to hand over keys and let me settle in before he left his friends alone elsewhere. But that short exchange... It became something more intimate than either of us expected right from the start. The moment I stepped into that cabin again after all those years, it felt like a piece of my past came back to life. Alex was there waiting for me though, and as he helped me unpack, our hands brushed against each other... Something sparked between us then, an instant connection so powerful neither could ignore. That night we both knew what would happen once the others were gone... But it wasn't just about sex, it was a release of all those built-up feelings from our divorces and loneliness. We ended up in bed that very first night, barely stopping to breathe between kisses... I won’t sugarcoat it... Our bodies moved together like they belonged there... Alex's hands exploring my skin as his mouth found every sensitive spot I had, making me lose control over everything except for the primal need growing stronger with each touch. My fingers dug into his back and hips as he pushed inside of me... It was raw, it was desperate... And both of us needed it that way, to let go of all our fears and doubts just long enough to experience this intense connection we knew wouldn't last forever. We continued to meet up whenever Alex’s friends were elsewhere for the next few weekends... Each encounter left me wanting more but also scared of what I felt. By the time I returned home from that final weekend, everything had changed. That cabin will always hold a special memory now, but it's no longer just about my ex-husband and me... It’s where Alex and I created something we both desperately needed during our toughest times.
