When Being Vulnerable Becomes a Turn-On

So last night, I was feeling really open with my partner, Em. We were just cuddling and talking about our feelings, which is something we do from time to time. But then this weird thing happened. As I opened up more and told her some of the fears and insecurities that I've been carrying around for a while now, she looked at me in a way I hadn't seen before. It was like she saw a different side of me, a vulnerable side that wasn't always there when we're just being playful or adventurous. And then something strange happened. The more I talked and the deeper I got into sharing what's been on my mind, the more turned on Em seemed to become. It made me feel weird at first because I've never thought of vulnerability as sexy before. But it was also kind of thrilling, you know? There was this whole other layer to our connection that I hadn't really explored. So we ended up kissing and then it got a bit more serious after that. By the time we were done, I was still processing what just happened but also feeling pretty amazing in a way I didn't expect. It's like I've been keeping this whole side of me locked away from her until now, but she found a key or something. Am I crazy for finding vulnerability sexy? Is it okay to want someone to see that part of you? Or am I just confusing emotional intimacy with physical desire and should keep them separate? What do you all think?
