Caught My Teacher's Eye

I had this weird moment last semester when I was walking out of my office hours. My TA, who’s been super supportive since the beginning of the year, just looked at me in a way that made my heart race. It wasn’t like we crossed any lines or anything, it felt kind of innocent and taboo all at once. Like something from an old movie about forbidden love but with no action to speak of.
