my wife always tells me to go for walks at lunchtime when im home alone to get some exercise. yesterday afternoon she went out with her friends so i decided instead of walking to stay in and eat a big sandwich while watching tv. after, i threw the wrapper away but noticed there was still some crumbs left over on my shirt, which meant i would have to clean them up later or risk getting caught by my wife. ended up telling her i had been out for my walk when she asked about lunch, knowing it’s a small lie and won’t change anything, but feel bad about it nonetheless.
