A Night Out on the Town Led to More Than I Anticipated

So last week, I went out with this guy named Alex. We’d been seeing each other casually for a while now, but nothing serious had developed yet. We got pretty tipsy at this trendy bar downtown and ended up walking home together under the city lights like some cheesy romantic comedy scene. As we approached my place, things started to feel different, there was an undeniable energy between us that night. Before I knew it, we were stepping into my apartment and making out on the couch. It wasn’t exactly what you’d call planned or talked about in advance; it just sort of happened, like those spur-of-the-moment moments do when two people are ready for something more but haven't quite said the words yet. Honestly, I’m not sure if this will change our dynamic at all, and there’s a part of me that worries about jumping into anything too fast. But for now, I’ll just take it one day at a time with Alex and see where things go.
