A Secret College Experiment

Hey everyone, I'm a grad student married for three years now. Recently, I started this experiment at my university's psychology department about human connections and intimacy. It was just supposed to be theoretical research, but it got real when Dr. Smith suggested actual participants! We ended up going on a few dates, yes, plural, but everything felt so consensual and mutual. The other day, we shared some intense moments that were purely for the study's sake, I swear! I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever experimented like this in their relationships or had something similar happen? Should I tell my spouse about it?
