As an older man in my fifties with a career dedicated to academia, I've always prided myself on the professional boundaries I maintain. However, there was this student, let's call her Emily, who caught my eye and our conversations took an unexpected turn when she began to confide in me about more than just classwork. Despite knowing better, I found myself intrigued by her intelligence and the mutual attraction we shared.
