Artistic License Gone Wrong

So here’s the thing, I’m in my late twenties, and I’ve been in an open relationship with Alice for over a year now. We both agreed that we wanted to keep things casual while still enjoying each other's company without strings attached. But one night, after a particularly successful art show where I had sold several pieces, Alice suggested we try something new, a roleplay scenario involving CNC dynamics (fictional non-consent). She said she was curious about it and thought it could add some spice to our relationship. I hesitated at first because, well, CNC is a bit of a gray area in open relationships, but ultimately agreed since the whole point of being open was to explore different kinds of connections. The night went pretty much as expected, roleplaying was intense and challenging, pushing both of us out of our comfort zones. Afterward, we had a heart-to-heart chat about it all, making sure that everyone involved felt respected and heard. But here’s the thing, I found myself thinking back to that evening quite often in subsequent weeks. I started bringing up CNC dynamics in other contexts with Alice, and gradually it seemed like she wanted more of these elements in our real life dynamic outside of roleplay. This is where things get tricky because I’m still not fully comfortable with the idea of blurring those lines beyond what we agreed to for roleplaying purposes. I guess my question, or rather confession, is how far should one push such boundaries when both parties are adults and consent has been established? And more importantly, am I being too rigid or is it right to stick to our initial agreement? It feels like a delicate balance between wanting to please your partner while staying true to yourself.
