That One Afternoon

A few weeks ago, my husband surprised me with a date at this fancy hotel downtown where we had one of those room-service deals for the afternoon. It was our first time doing something like that together, just us, no kids, no distractions, and there's this moment when he suggested we spice things up a bit. We ended up in a playful yet intense scenario where roles were switched and the power dynamic felt thrillingly different than what we usually experience at home. It was liberating but also confusing; I couldn't shake off these feelings of being both in control and entirely submissive at once, which is unusual for me.
