The Kink Experiment

...I recently tried something with my husband that I hadn't before, a kink that he wasn't aware I had an interest in. It started as a joke, and somehow turned into reality. We were watching a movie together, something completely innocent really, but it made me think of this one thing I've been curious about for years. So after the movie was over...I told him about it and asked if he wanted to try. He agreed. To be honest, he took it so seriously that it felt like more than just a game, there were real emotions involved. Afterward, though, he seemed somewhat distant, and I'm not sure how much he enjoyed the experience or if he regrets trying it. It's left me wondering what this means for our relationship...and whether we should even talk about it again. We've been together so long now, and suddenly this one moment has made everything feel precarious...
