Non-monogamy Works For Me

I'm nonbinary and in my early twenties, living an open relationship. It's been a journey figuring out what works for me, but I've found this setup to be incredibly fulfilling. Met my partner when we were both experimenting with different setups, and we decided to go all-in on open relationships. We're very clear about boundaries and communication is key. It's not just about the physical stuff either; it's a mental shift too. Sharing love feels good for us, and I don't feel any less attached or committed because of that. Sometimes people judge, but who are they to say what my version of happy looks like? It's not always smooth sailing, jealousy does crop up sometimes, but we handle it together. We support each other's choices and growth, and our relationship has thrived with the freedom of exploring more than just one path.
