the lie to my friend

i told jenna last week that i'd returned her copy of that rare book she lent me, but honestly i kinda forgot and haven't found time yet. just felt so petty lying like that, especially since we're always being honest with each other. now every time i see the book i feel this twinge of guilt. is it really a big deal or am i overthinking this?
