Shopping Surprise

I never thought I'd end up in this kind of situation at work. Last week, during a slow day at the retail store, a customer walked in with an unusual request. She wanted to buy something but also asked if there was any way she could touch and feel some other items too, without buying them. At first, I was completely taken aback. But then, as we got to talking, it turned out this wasn't just casual curiosity, she had a specific interest in the tactile experience of different materials, as part of her personal pleasure routine at home. And let's be honest, my hands started moving on their own before I even fully processed what was happening. It felt weirdly intimate to help her like that, feeling fabrics and other items against her skin. But the strangest part was when she invited me into this roleplaying, suggesting we trade places for a bit, could I imagine being the customer? Would it change my perspective on things if I was in her shoes? It's hard to say how long we stood there after that, lost in conversation and shared laughter. So here’s my question: have any of you ever been part of something like this in a retail environment or elsewhere? How did you handle the situation?
