Missed Opportunities and Regrets

Lately, I've been feeling a bit lost with my partner. We're happy in so many ways, supportive, loving, the usual good stuff. But there's this other side to me that he doesn't see, or maybe I just don’t let him see it. Last month, we were in Vegas and everything felt open for the taking. A stranger approached us at a bar, offering something different, a glimpse into what could be but never will be between us now. It was more than just another hook-up; it was an invitation to play with desires that are usually locked away. I had to leave without exploring any of it, and even though nothing happened, the missed chance still nags at me.
