A Late Night Surprise

I'll admit, I've been struggling with my attraction to an older customer who visits the coffee shop almost daily. He's in his forties and has this air about him that makes every barista in the place blush and look away. Last night, after closing time, he stayed back and asked me if we could talk somewhere more private. I didn't know what to expect but my heart was racing. We ended up going into an empty storage room, and everything happened so fast. He's married, and there were rules laid out, but I felt this overwhelming pull that I couldn't resist. It feels wrong now, knowing it could have ruined our professional relationship if anyone found out. But at the same time, part of me wonders what would've happened if we hadn't stopped.
