A Small Lie

Told one of my students... I was running late because of car trouble... when really, I had overslept and got tangled up in an early morning call with an old friend. It's such a little thing, but it sits on my conscience, a nagging reminder that sometimes even the smallest fib can weigh heavy. ...guess I just needed a bit more time to get ready without rushing through everything...
