Law School and Late Night Fantasies

So, I’m this first-year law student, and yes, it’s as boring and stressful as everyone says. But last night? Yeah, that was something else entirely. Wasn’t expecting the wild turn my imagination took after pulling another all-nighter on case briefs. I had been so zoned into the stacks of paperwork I had to finish for a big exam coming up, barely moving except for coffee and bathroom breaks. By midnight, I figured I was about done, I mean, how hard could the rest be? Turns out, very. But there’s something cathartic about finally getting it all over with. So after an hour or so of nothing but relief, my mind just went wild. Imagine this: you’re walking through a legal conference room, everyone dressed to impress, suits and ties everywhere, and then I picture myself in the middle of it, completely naked. Yeah, weird place for that kind of fantasy, right? But wait! It gets better, because now these guys aren’t just staring because they saw me, they’re staring because I’m giving them all a show from my desk… and there’s not much point in hiding when you have your notes as cover. Mind-blowing how the tension can switch from studying hard to something else entirely. Anyway, it was a quick fix for an empty head that needed distracting. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I can let steam off somehow, even if it’s just in my imagination, but also kinda freaks me out how my brain works sometimes. Maybe there are limits to what law school does to you after all.
