Deployed and Distracted

Sitting here at my computer, I just realized something about the last month of deployment. Every time my husband calls me for a check-in or video chat, it's never about how he’s doing or what’s going on there, it’s always about him getting off. We talk dirty and he gives me some really explicit directions over Skype or FaceTime that leave me breathless, but it’s all one-sided. The moment I start asking about his day, everything gets cut short because the line goes dead, a meeting starts, or something else comes up. So, my question to you: does this sound like normal military deployment stuff? Or am I just married to a sex addict who can't handle real conversations?
