Feeling Lost After An Intense Encounter...

I met someone new at a bar last week. We hit it off instantly... He was charming and seemed to really understand me in ways I hadn't thought possible before. We ended up back at his place, and things got pretty intense between us... But after it was over, the atmosphere changed. There was this awkwardness that wasn't there before... It felt like maybe he had wanted something more than just a one-night stand, but I'm not sure if I can handle anything beyond that right now. So now we're in this weird limbo where neither of us knows what to do or say... Does anyone else feel this way after intense hookups? Should I reach out and try to figure things out with him... or just leave it as a fun night that was just that?
