Home Alone with the Boss...

So here I am, a freelancer working from home for this big tech company. My boss, let's call him Jack, yes, he really is called that, he's always got these crazy ideas and meetings but today, things took an unexpected turn. I was in my office early morning, headphones on, cranking out code when I heard a knock at the door. I paused for a moment before getting up to answer it, not expecting anyone since everyone else is remote like me. Jack walked right in, and it wasn't just him... he brought coffee, lots of coffee. We sat down, chatted about projects... then suddenly, things started shifting. He mentioned how impressed he was with my work, how I've made a real impact on the company's future. Then there were these stares that lingered longer than necessary. My heart rate spiked, and I felt heat creeping up from my neck to my cheeks. ... He leaned in closer, his eyes never leaving mine as he spoke about the kind of responsibility he sees me taking on. He suggested a 'celebratory' lunch break together, something that sounded like more than just food. As we left my office and walked down the hallway towards the elevators, I couldn't help but think this might not be such a good idea... In his condo, yes, he's got an entire floor to himself, it was obvious where this was heading. We were both adults... or so it seemed until that moment when I realized just how far gone we could go with no consequences in this bubble of our own making. Jack kissed me... and then we ended up on his bed, exploring each other's bodies like there wasn't a tomorrow. His hands moved over my skin as if they'd been waiting for years to touch me... Afterwards, lying next to him, I couldn’t shake the feeling of guilt and confusion. Is this really okay? Shouldn’t we at least have discussed boundaries beforehand? I'm married... but that doesn't mean every other kind of relationship is off-limits forever, does it? What do you think? Am I just being overly dramatic here?
