during my first week of law school

i met this girl at the library our second day. we hit it off, both stressed and tired from adjusting to everything so fast. i told her about how i missed home and wanted nothing more than a distraction. she listened intently, nodding along sympathetically. the next day she asked if i wanted to go for coffee and it snowballed into this week of us being inseparable. we even kissed one night when no one was around - her lips were soft against mine and there’s something about her that just felt right in that moment. but now i’m scared because my wife doesn’t know and she’d kill me if she found out. it feels so wrong to be doing this behind her back, but i can’t seem to stop.
