Desire's Longing

I'm 45 and recently separated from my wife of 20 years. Lying alone last night, I reached for her but felt empty without her touch. Instead, I touched myself in the dark until I came hard, thinking about how our marriage started with such passion and ended so cold. Is it normal to feel this loss as a physical ache? Any advice for finding that spark again?
