Can't Help But Tease My Lover

Yesterday, me and my partner were just lounging around the house after work when we decided to play something fun. I know she's always enjoyed a bit of teasing, so I thought maybe tonight could be special. First, I started off slowly, dropping hints here and there about how much I was craving her but in ways that made it seem like I wasn't going for anything more than just playful banter. We were watching TV when suddenly my hand found its way to her thigh under the blanket we were sharing. She looked over at me with those eyes, knowing exactly what I meant, and gave this little smile that just made me want her even more. The night went on like that; every touch had a double meaning, and she loved it. But now I'm wondering, is this normal? How do people usually handle teasing each other without crossing the line into something serious too quickly?
