Engagement Gift Gone Wrong...

So I got engaged last month to my high school sweetheart (she's 29), but apparently I'm not great at picking engagement gifts. I gave her a set of erotic massage oils thinking we could make our own Valentine’s Day gift... Well, the reaction was awkwardly silent as she stared back at me with this look like she wanted to laugh and cry at once. It ended up being more about my lack of tact than any real issue with what it was.
