a lonely truth

i was dating this student teacher thing casually for a few weeks now but it hit me tonight like a punch in the gut that she’s not into anything serious yet and i’m just some side project till she figures out what her next big move is gonna be. we ended up at my place last night for the first time, both of us pretty drunk, and things got heated fast. i mean it was wild, totally raw and primal, no strings attached just pure lust. his hands everywhere, mouth on me like he couldn’t get enough. we fucked against the wall then in bed till early morning light, bodies slick with sweat, sounds echoing off the walls. but now as the hangover sets in this feels hollow, empty even. it was sex but it wasn’t us connecting, more two strangers getting off for a moment.
