A Lie About Laundry

I lied about doing laundry last week when my ex called to check in. Said I had it done and didn't need her help anymore. The truth is, I'm terrible at chores and just couldn't bear the thought of admitting it after she offered. Feels like I'm back to square one now, but maybe a little less ashamed this time.
