Confidential Patient Encounters Yield Unexpected Pleasure

Anonymous Dirty Beast #375 · General

I'm a doctor in my mid-thirties, married to an incredible woman who's supportive of me even when she can't understand what I do or why. My work is demanding, and there are times when the personal boundaries between patients and doctors blur dangerously close, but always behind closed doors where professionalism reigns supreme, or so everyone thinks. One particular patient stands out, a man in his late twenties who came to me for an unusual condition that required a physical exam. We were alone in my examination room with the door securely locked and the window curtains drawn. As I started the examination, it was clear he wasn't there just because of his health issue. His breath hitched when our hands brushed unexpectedly. He didn't flinch when my hand lingered longer than necessary, or when my eyes met his and held them with a silent understanding that went beyond medicine. We both knew what was happening, even as we pretended nothing changed for the sake of professional conduct. That day ended with me leaving to find my wife at home waiting patiently for dinner while I remained in the examination room alone, tears of shame and pleasure streaming down my face after a momentary lapse into something much more primal than the cold detachment required by my role. It was an anomaly, not a pattern, but the memory of that encounter has stayed with me. I've never spoken about it to anyone, not even her, and probably won't again. Yet sometimes I wonder if there are others like him who crave the thrill of crossing into forbidden territory just as much as I did in that moment. It's an oddity, a dark secret that will remain locked within the confines of my heart and my memories.
