A Shocking Afternoon

It was one of those monotonous work weeks where nothing exciting happens. That is until Friday afternoon when I found myself alone in the office with Jane from accounting. We’ve never really clicked, but something about the quiet room and the lingering day made us both feel bold. She suggested a game we could play, something to liven things up before the weekend. It was an unexpected turn, and though it didn't go anywhere physical, there was an undercurrent of heat that lingered long after I left for home.
