Late Night Experimentation...

I've always been intrigued by my co-worker Alex's quiet confidence. We're both in our early twenties and work at the same coffee shop, but I haven't really made a move because he seems to keep his personal life pretty separate from work. Last night, though, after closing, we stayed late...just chatting over drinks like old friends would do. Something shifted between us, maybe it was the shared exhaustion of our shifts, or perhaps it was just being relaxed and unguarded in the quiet barista room. Before I knew it, my hand was on his knee...and then sliding up a bit higher. I could feel him tense up for a moment before he responded to me with a soft groan. We explored each other's bodies without saying much, but there was an understanding that words weren't necessary in the moment. It felt like we were trying something out, not just one night stands...but more about testing where this friendship could go when no one else is around to judge us. ...I'm left wondering if it means anything outside of those hours after closing time...
