Legal Boundaries and Beyond
Anonymous Restless Sinner #282 · General
So, I'm a first-year law student in an open relationship. You'd think it would make things easier to talk about the legal implications of kinks with someone who knows how consent works, but here we are. Last weekend, my partner suggested we explore some CNC roleplay, you know, consensual non-consent scenarios. I was skeptical at first, especially considering all those 'grey area' lectures on sexual autonomy and coercion, but she insisted it would be just a fantasy play with strict boundaries. We set up an elaborate scenario: me as her dominant lawyer overseeing the execution of a fake will in a dimly-lit study. The setup was detailed, handcuffs, blindfolds, scripted dialogue that had to adhere to our safety words and signals. It felt... intense, but not real. I couldn't help but wonder if the whole thing could be misconstrued as actual consent issues under criminal law. Anyway, I'm here asking for advice: is it normal to second-guess every aspect of a consensual roleplay through the lens of contract and tort law? Am I just overthinking things?
