A Lie I Told My Client
Anonymous Naughty Deviant #869 · General
Last week, my client came in late and was stressed out about missing a session. She's been working hard to lose weight for an upcoming wedding, so it wasn't the best time for a slip-up. To ease her mind, I told her that she had made great progress and didn't need this session as much because we could just pick up where we left off next week. The truth is, I was running late due to a car issue and I didn't want to cancel or postpone her workout. It felt terrible lying to her, but I wanted to keep her on track mentally without adding stress from the missed time together. Now I feel guilty about it every day when we work out, wondering how long she'll believe my fib. What made me do this? Was it worth it?
