One Night and Done: A Stay-At-Home Dad's One-Night Stand

Stay-at-home dad here, not looking for anything serious but found myself alone one night when my kid was sick. Passed out in front of some boring documentary, and next thing I know, there’s a knock on the door, my neighbor from across the street, someone I’d barely said hello to before. We both had no plans, so… well, you get it. It was fast, messy, and incredibly hot for a moment. But after? Just felt wrong somehow. Now we pretend nothing happened, but sometimes I catch her looking at me funny during the school drop-off, like she’s trying to decide if it’s worth bringing up again.
