An Embarrassing Lie

I recently ended a long-term relationship and am trying to get back on my feet. During our time together, there was one little lie that still eats at me. One day we ran into an ex of mine, who had moved away years ago. When he asked how things were going with me, I said everything was fine, and kissed his cheek like a friend would do. Truth is, I felt this surge of attraction and told him to come back for a cup of coffee in my place. The next day, after he left, guilt set in but I've never had the courage to be honest about that moment with anyone.
