Another Night Alone...

I've been on these dating apps for months now, trying to find someone who gets me. I'm nonbinary and just want a connection, but everyone's so surface-level or they never follow through after the initial messages. Last night, I went out with a guy who seemed interested in my hobbies and all that jazz... But it felt hollow somehow. We ended up at his place and he was eager to jump into bed... me, I just couldn't. All we did was talk about logistics and expectations. It's hard when you're looking for something real but all you find are people who want a checklist of needs fulfilled... Tonight, here I am again, typing out my thoughts instead of connecting with someone genuine. It feels like no matter what I do, I'll always be alone.
