... Just Another Day ...

So today, I had this patient who was absolutely convinced he needed 'special care' with his IV. You know the drill, lots of eye contact, overly familiar chatter, trying to slip in personal questions about my life and job. It's not like I didn't notice his hands lingering a bit too long on the catheter... or his breath getting a tad too close during 'casual conversation.' I mean, seriously, has anyone ever thought that maybe I'm just here to do my job? But nope, he had to go full-on seduction mode. And when he tried a little extra touchy-feely at the end of his shift... well, let's just say I made it clear that patient-nurse boundaries are non-negotiable. Another day in paradise...
